Horrible Poetry Wednesday #3

It's time for another one of my Horrible poems! This week, I'll treat you all to something a little different. This is a bunch of Haiku strung together to form a larger piece. I don't know if you can still call it Haiku at that point, but basically what I'm saying is that, for each stanza, the syllable structure is 5-7-5.

Will Physical Books Become Obsolete?

I just read a refreshing short story called "Readers," by Rachel A. Brune. You can read the short story in its entirety here. I say refreshing, because it brings up an idea that I think a lot of people are interested in and discussing, but no one have I seen pursuing it to it's logical conclusion. I'm referring to ebooks and their steady rise in purchase and use.

Horrible Poetry Wednesday #1

So going forward, I'm going to try and do a Horrible Poetry Wednesday! In these posts (which will, for obvious reasons, be posted each Wednesday) I will showcase some old poetry of mine (which I usually hate, I was fifteen at the time of writing most of this and I absolutely abhor most of it) and let you all laugh about how horrible of a poetry writer I am.

Customer Service Meltdown (non-edited)

This was funny for about five seconds, and then it just became sad. I actually feel bad for both parties involved. I can understand wanting to speak with someone who offered to help and not being able to, or being frustrated at a system that you can't understand. I maybe don't agree with his reaction, but we each have different levels of tolerance for things that make us angry or push our buttons. This guy had just reached his limit.

Keep sharing this with your friends, family, co-workers, and colleagues so we can get some more submissions! I'll let you know once I've decided to post a winner. Don't forget to check back often for updates!
